Oral, written and complex examinations
It is possible to take oral, written and complex type examinations at the Examination Centre. Please note the following important information, which may also be available elsewhere on the homepage.
1. It is important to make a distinction between examination types and examination components. The table below explains which examination components belong to which types:
2. The examination system of FLEC BBU combines the advantages of taking a complex examination and of the system of taking oral and written examinations separately.
If somebody registers for a complex type examination and the total score for the examination components pertaining to it exceeds the level required for a pass, and if the minimum threshold for each skill is reached, will be granted a complex type certificate. In such cases, the results on the examination part(s) scoring higher could compensate for the results obtained on the examination part(s) possibly falling short of the pass level.
AN EXAMPLE: In this case, even though the candidate did not get 60% in one exam type (oral) the overall score of 60% still qualifies him/her for a complex certificate.
3. During the registration period, the examinee can select on the registration form which examination he or she would like to take. 4. When registering for more than one examination, the candidate must reckon with the possibility of identical type examination components of different examination coinciding in time. |
