Bilingual Examination Tasks

 « Back

The written and listening comprehension examination components take place on one day for all three levels, one after the other. Prior to these examination components an attendance check is implemented, which might take 10-25 minutes, depending on the number of examinees.

In written examination components, with simultaneously distributed tasks, the examinee may structure his or her time freely within the limits of the total time allotted for the completion of individual tasks. In the written examination component dictionaries (mono- or bilingual general (!) dictionaries) may used for the completion of the ‘composition’ task ("írásfeladat") at basic level, the ‘composition of a professional text by mediation’ ("szakmai szöveg írása közvetítéssel") task at intermediate level, as well as the ‘text composition for a given situation’ ("szövegírás adott szituációban") task and the ‘summary of a Hungarian text in the target language’ ("magyar szöveg tömörítése célnyelven") task at advanced level. At the listening comprehension and the oral examination dictionaries cannot be used at any level.
